How long will it take to complete my course?

Our Blended learning study mode enables you to complete the course at your own pace. The CH30125 Diploma usually takes between 12 to 24 months and can be adapted to meet your individual learning needs.

When can I start my course?

Whenever you want!

However we do shut down for two weeks over the Christmas break, and will advise you of those specific dates.

What skills do I need to complete an online course?

You will need basic computing skills including reading and sending emails, logging onto the learning platform and time management.

We are here to support and guide throughout your course and are committed to your success.

What support will I get on the course?

You will be fully supported throughout your course by having great learning materials, industry qualified trainers and a fantastic administration team.

Your dedicated trainer is just an email or phone call away.

They will also visit you in your Centre to answer questions and help you with your assessments.

Pre-Enrolment Information for Learners

At Atkinson Childcare College we offer training both for childcare centre-based educators (Employment-based), and for those learners who want to study first and then find a work placement at a childcare centre (Blended).

Entry requirements for the CHC50125 Diploma

As per the packaging rules the entry requirement for the CHC50125 qualification is:
- hold a CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or its equivalent successor); OR
- CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Alternatively, individuals may hold:

An Australian diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

OR

An Australian Diploma or Certificate III in Children’s Services
AND
Demonstrate at least 12 months of cumulative employment (full-time equivalent) within the last 5 years in a regulated education and care service in Australia, supported by verifiable evidence

OR

Hold the CHCSS00147 Entry into Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
